Over the last dozen years this 24-hour global movement has inspired transformative philanthropy across every sector.  Organizations with Virtual Engagement Officers saw incredible results for their Giving Tuesday campaigns coming directly from their VEO-managed donors.

VEOs sent over 21,000 messages to donors across the country and helped raise $284,105 (and counting) for the 40+ organizations that participate in the Giving Tuesday campaign.

One of our HBCU Innovation Partners set a goal of $300K for their Giving Tuesday appeal. Nearly 10% of that revenue goal was raised from donors managed by their VEO. On top of that, 40% of those gifts came from LYBUNTs.

Similarly, one of our Humane Society partners raised $33,400 from their VEO portfolio. There was over $4,000 in increased giving amounts, and 119 LYBUNTs renewed their support through this campaign. While these results are impactful on their own, the story it tells is even more inspirational. Donors aren’t just being retained, but they’re deepening their commitment.

We know that moment-in-time campaigns are successful when they’re part of consistent and strategic communications that happen year-round. And that’s exactly what Autonomous Fundraising delivers for our amazing partners.

Donors who gave on Giving Tuesday received 3-4 meaningful touchpoints between Labor Day and Thanksgiving from VEOs checking in, acknowledging past giving, and sharing relevant impact updates. So, when they received an ask on Giving Tuesday, it was a natural opportunity to provide support to an organization they were deeply connected to.

VEOs bring a moves-management strategy to the mid-level donors who establish the future pipeline, but don’t receive 1-to-1 personal outreach due to fundraising capacity. We all know that the success of gift officers lies in spending time learning about each individual and leveraging cultivation opportunities to connect them to your work. That’s what drives giving, not the actual ask.

The LYBUNT renewals we're seeing are a result of donors being in consistent relationships rather than experiencing radio silence between appeals.

Organizations deploying VEOs now are building donor relationships today that will drive results across every moment in 2026—spring appeals, Giving Days, fiscal year-end, fall events, and yes, Giving Tuesday 2026.

With autonomous AI working alongside your team, Giving Tuesday and similar moments become strategic touchpoints in year-round relationships for mid-level donors.
