Our team had the opportunity to attend and present at the 2026 CASE DRIVE conference. The sessions were rich, discussing AI, data, fundraising strategy, and the intersection of all three. But what really stood out were the conversations with so many of our partners that all held the same pattern: running an Autonomous Fundraising program has propelled their careers in ways they didn’t expect.
As the company that created the category of Autonomous Fundraising and the first to drive everyday revenue results with Virtual Engagement Officers, it’s rewarding to see the nonprofit sector reward the work of our amazing innovation partners.
Whether it has been job offers, speaking invitations, growth of professional networks, finalist slots for roles they’ve been building towards for years, or all of the above, having real, hands-on experience deploying AI in fundraising is what’s setting advancement leaders apart.
This conversation is happening everywhere we go, not just at DRIVE. It's a consistent signal that reflects something real about where our profession is right now.
The differentiator of what’s actually opening doors today is proven experience innovating with technology, specifically with AI. The leaders moving into the next roles are the ones who can stand in front of a search committee and speak credibly to what they've built. The ones being asked onto panels and stages are the ones who can speak to real strategy and real results. They can articulate how they know the right direction and right partners to align with for innovation.
Advancement teams are continuously being asked to do more with smaller teams, tighter budgets, growing donor bases, and ambitious goals. AI is increasingly the answer that boards and organization leaders are reaching for, but knowing what to do with it is a different skill than knowing it exists. The leaders who have already built something, who have a model that works and outcomes they can point to, are the ones being sought out to fill senior roles, lead sessions, and help peer institutions figure out where to start.
Autonomous Fundraising is solving a critical problem for the sector, and the value it creates extends beyond organizational ROI. The leaders working with autonomous AI are building something that compounds: a fundraising program that works and a professional profile that opens doors.
