This week, Roger Craver, renowned innovator, entrepreneur, and longtime publisher of the fundraising publication The Agitator, wrote a wonderful article about the impact that our work researching, developing and deploying the world’s first fully autonomous frontline fundraiser at Version2.ai could have on the fundraising industry.
The autonomous fundraiser is one of the most important initiatives in fundraising right now. With fundraising talent shortages reaching epidemic levels, the autonomous fundraiser is critical not because of the technological leaps needed to accomplish this task, but because of the shift in efforts needed from developing technology that enables fundraisers to building autonomous AI technology that has the ability to duplicate a fundraiser’s efforts and, quite possibly, their outcomes.
In his article, Roger writes...
"In fact, my hopes were boosted with the arrival of the press release at Agitator HQ announcing Version2. Version2, launched by Adam Martel and his firm Givzey, is the first AI research and design lab specifically focused on advancing fundraising in the nonprofit sector.
Specifically, Version2’s goal is to have their AI process both successfully and autonomously manage a portfolio of donors, like the way a knowledgeable, experienced fundraiser would.
I took this announcement more seriously than I do most claims involving AI because Adam is not a techie, he’s an experienced fundraiser who understands in practical ways the application of technology to our trade. He proved this with the success of his earlier firm Gravyty."
